Wattage aside which one of these amps do you guys think is better as a daily amp run at 1 ohm. I have a 2003 yukon, 300 amp alty, twin yellowtop, big 3, and 1/0 ga. wire. This amp will be replacing a soundstream xxx6500 which is to long to fit under my bucket seat and just overkill for my situation. I can get the exile new for under $700 what do the ab's go for new?

I am almost positive that the Exile is cheaper but the AB puts out more watts and it a more solid amp. I would choose the AB

How do you come to the conclusion that the its a more solid amp?You do realize the engineers behind this company were some of the originals at phoenix gold? American bass makes a good amp, but I have no doubts the exile will hold its own against it. Their customer service is fantastic aswell..

ab makes a **** good heavy duty amp, and 1ohm is nothing for the 200.1, as for exile i have no expirience.

what should the exile 2400.1 cost new. The retail on it is 999. What is the retail on the AB. If anyone knows of dealers with good deals on either let me know.
