am i using half my subs capability?

So I took out the kicker and pio amp, made a much bigger system, 2 RF HE2's (400rms each, 200 per coil) and a RF 750s amp (750 bridged mono, 375x2 @ 2ohm). i currently am running the amp bridged, on each sub i joined one pos and one neg (closing that coil my logic says?), then joined the other 2 pos and negs to their appropriate terminal on the amp.

now my logic is saying i just turned off one voice coil and now im only getting 200rms per sub instead of the full 400. Is this true? If I want the full power do I need to wire each sub to a 2 ohm load, each on it's own channel? Is the wiring i have now the best for the setup, or is it best to rewire them for a 2 ohm load, one sub per channel? I would like to get my full capability out of the subs instead of half, being as I just spent alot of money on this new system!!

thanks

brian

Yes, they are 4ohm dual voice coils. And that link is how I currently have them wired up. But my concern is, didn't I close off one of the voice coils by joing one pos and neg together like that, thus im only using one coil per sub now and getting half the subs capability?

You have 4 voice coils - 2 pair of 4 ohm loads. Each pair is wired in series creating two 8 ohm loads. The two 8 ohm loads are wired in parallel to the amp which results in a 4 ohm load on the amp. Each coil is seeing 190 watts give or take.
