okay, I have a 1994 4runner with stock wiring battery and alt, i'm pretty sure its stock alt is 70 or 80 amps. I had about 600 rms from my subs and 200 rms from my 4 channel and i only got minor dimming when the bass hits hard. but its time to get a new battery and i was gonna go with an optima yellowtop and do a big 3 with 0g wiring while im at it. I was just wondering if doing that without doing anything with my alt would allow me to run my subs at say 800-1000 rms without dimming?

i was running 1200 watts + another 150 when I had a POS 1986 madzda 626 with a yellowtop up front, no big three done and I only got some dimming. Im sure the alt was shittier than yours too.

I was running a modded MTX 1501d (1.6ohm, approx 1700wrms) on a STOCK Toyota Yaris (80a alt) electrical. You should be good with the power and the mods you're planning.

im running 1k plus and dont get any dimming?

ok thanks guys, next i just dont know if i should get an audioque hdc3, mach 5 ixl, or phoenix gold titanium elite (heard one and loved it)
