what i actually meant was..the cvx sounds better ported than sealed..i heard both applications and liked ported better so thats what i based my claim on

Personal preference should never decide what enclosure type somebody else wants or what a particular sub should be put in. So in this case, it's not wrong to say a sub is designed to be put in a specific enclosure type based on its design and parameters but it is wrong to say which enclosure it should be put in based on how you prefer it to sound.
