am i on the verge of blowing my subs?

i have been running 4 RE8's for a total of 2 hours at most, and today got curious and checked the ohm load. the way i wired them is so that i would get a 2 ohm load, but when i checked they have a load of 1.4 ohms. what does this mean? is it bad?

nahh you wont blow them, just make sure you keep on eye on volts. your amp migt crap on you

not sure, whats that. just put multimeter on ohms and checked it.

it will read a lower resistence if thats what you did

You are with that attitude! Drop em down to .35 if you really want to make them happy

no because of box rise and wire takes up some resistance

i was wanting to try 8's in my set up also

i only have them sealed, cause its behind my seat in my truck, and i dont have any room. everyone says to port em to get the best out of them. but i like them, 4 is plenty loud.
