the guy did some measurements on my trunk...the "tub" of the trunk and he came with 5.27cubes

room wasnt a problem..that guy at the other shop just didnt want to do the work..

im gonna call him up and tell him im like hundred short if he can work with me...in a couple of days though

ahh dilemma hopefully he doesnt take 9hrs cuz this labor is killing me.

get 80 inches to design you a bandpass, he will do a much better job. then just ask a forum member to come over and help you out and just supply beer and gas and they should be happy to do it.

yea i've been talking to 80 and he offered to draw something up.

i made a post a while back asking if anyone lived near daytona beach and wanted to install it but noone replied.

and then i have no tools or supplies what so ever...if that brings up more of a problem.

lol hands-on is the furthest thing from me.

but i would have noone to install it...i couldnt do it...1. my parents would never let me because of bad installs my brothers friends have done to his car, so mine has to be done by someone reputable

2. you could say im 'illiterate' when it comes to installation

but that $75/hr labor is higher because i aint buy from him.

i doubt its the same...this shop has 2 places..1 in daytona 1 in palm coast, (where i live) according to the website,

there are more then one AE. theres an audio excellence in orlando, but this is audio excellence BY WES so i guess there is a difference.

x2 Robin's a great guy and a very skilled builder. Don't assume he'll do it for free though. Having someone drive to where you are to build you a box and install a system doesn't come without compensation.

Hey Xclusiv,

I have been to Wes's shop many of times. He is cool and has a badazz installer named Jack. Downside is you have to pay for his prime location and "rep". There is a shop in Port Orange that is way cheaper, but not as pretty. They do pretty good work for what they charge. Screw pretty storefronts anyway. That just means more money that you don't have to spend.

Point is, I got a qoute for about 80$ for a slot ported 2.5 @32 carpeted just last week. Come up with what size box you want and call him to make an appointment with his box builder. Or you can check out my install and see what you think. I built the same exact box for 30 bucks.

Give me a shout. I'm off every night this week.
