I am cutting down to 6 there's plenty of space between the 6 woofers and they will all be aimed in different directions. If it doesn't work then not like it matters W0s aren't that expensive, and I'll just try something else until I get it right.Originally posted by audiolife but but jl said he could.. lol
No I'm trying to fill low bass(low as in not subsonic). Right now I'm running a properly installed Eclipse Titanium and I'm destroying everything from 65hz(so much so its like having my fan o its moving so much air) and down but from 75-100hz I'm dying. I know from experience that JL W0s will hit that because I've had them installed and done it the only problem was the subs kept blowing up because of as I now know PHASE problems. I was using 4 12W0s in a much smaller trunk with an unchambered box. I also know that they are much faster subs and as far as I can remember the sound was much clearer while still being loud at the subsonic(down to 20hz I think) range. If any of you had been around me I would gladly show you. For a car it was pretty good you could hear it coming a good 3 blocks(small suburban) away.Originally posted by chris229 what is the hole in the sound your tring to fix???? is it a midbass thing or what
Yeah it will look cool as hell though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif 6-8 apart like I said by my guestimate. I won't know for sure until they're installed.Originally posted by audiolife woofers far apart and different directions? hmmmmmmmmmmm yanno those are 2 things u aint supposed to do

Tried that. Did not work to the satisfaction of my ears.Originally posted by chris229 simple midbasses UPFRONT is the answer----not a bunch of 10" in the trunk
