I've been tinkering with stereo systems since high school. Back then I had two MTX RFL 18's in dual sealed boxes off an Alphasonic PA-2150 amp and was untouchable. In the very early 2000's when Al & Ed's sponsored the DB Drags I had an SPL system in an extended cab F150 - 4 12" subs, 2 amps, did low 150's - won a few trophies in SS 3-4. It was fun. In those days a modded Earthquake D2 Shredder was king-of-the-hill. Boy how times have changed now with 4k, 8k and 12k watt amps! Fun times again.

Me too man. I was 15 and couldn't drive, so my neighbor was 16 and I'd ride around town with him. He had a little 10 in a prefab, and that was the first sub I heard at that age, and I immediately fell in love. That was right around the time when Put On came out, so everybody was playing that. I started out with a Fi Q 15, then HDC318, then DD 3510 and AQ HDC310 (testing), 2 Q-power 15's, then I got my Explorer, had 2 Fi BL 18's, the 2 DC XL 18's, and I design boxes for people now haha. Love it, welcome!

modded Earthquake D2 Shredder was king-of-the-hill

Those were extremely popular in the lanes for several years. Amazing Earthquake went from that to irrelevant since then.
