Aluminum Set screw terminals

I already bought the dual input style in the 0awg flavor (Yup, more like 4) but was having second thoughts about potential corrosion issue in a vehicle application.

I don't have a crimper and most would have to be done in-car with little room. I am thinking about just soldering the wires in w/o crimping but i'm not sure if I want to go that route quite yet. Just figured if these aluminum ones would work it would be a hell of a lot easier. They do have these

but my god are they ugly and awkward. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

After spending the majority of my morning browsing every type of terminal, I have made my choice. There were options I liked better but they were either too expensive for what they were or didn't come with a cover, which would drive me absolutely nuts.

I went with two of these (Both pos, neg didn't have a center bolt) and will use my existing pos>neg spacer.

Now i can properly crimp/solder some copper ring terminals onto the alternator and amplifier wire and attach them @ the center post. I'll then use my factory 4awg and 8awg in the set screw inputs. Same for the neg side, 4/8awg into the set screws and solder on ring terminals for the chassis and engine ground @ the center post.

And all for $6/pc. Hell of a lot cheaper than some of the shitt!er options I looked at.

And she's done-

Couple before and afters. Ended up just going with the generic gold plated terminals that everybody uses.
