i have a pair of alpine type r 12's and everyone talks about the great sq they have but i only have 300 watts goin to each in sealed enclosures and they are very loud in my blazer. Not ungodly loud.... but loud nonetheless. Loud enough for me ne ways

you know whats funny ive heard both type r and alumaq. and when i was running my alumaQs, they sounded **** nice. ok maybe slightly unfair as I was using a large sealed box for sq and my orion HCCA 2100 super mega awsome amplifier but for the 140 bucks for both back in 2001 they rocked. my friends Type Rs sounded really good to, and hes got a smaller box and 2 audiobahn t8002 ( i think thats the model ) amps ( 1 per sub ). But i dont know how the new alumaQs sound.
