yo, rite now ive got 2 12" audiobahns 1251s. honestly theyre not as bad a people say they are (especially for the price you can get them for). but now im starting to get bored with them so i want to kno...

For SPL and SQ , how do the audiobahn alum q subs compare with the typr r's . which one has better SPL and which one has better SQ.

id say that the bahns probably have better spl depending on the enclousre, but the type r's will have the edge as far as sq goes.

id personally go with the type r's

how much are you willing to spend on the woofers? there are plenty better for the price.

if thats for 2, 2 adire audio shiva's would suit you quite well.(125 a piece)

the dbdrive platinum series look pretty interesting too, im thinking about giving them a try.

and if its for one woofer, the re sx would pound like a mother

ok i just found 2 AW1200Qs for $120 on ebay. shipping is $55 (they gotta make up the money sumwhere). is this a good deal or should i just spend 250 on sumthin much better? wut is the best sub for SPL for 250 thatll give me at least some decent SQ?

Don't buy the 1200 q's... you will be dissapointed.
