of worse comes to worse i always got some iprovement buy going to a local homedepot and buying a peice of that multi colored carpet padding bought /5" think buy like a 3x6 peice and just put it in fron tof the box rap it around the side leave it loose, should dampen the waves moving toward the trunk, wont loose any output but should soften the rattle
