I have the follwoing:
Apine D106
Alpine CUX/H701
SIR-ALP Sirius radio
Alpine CH634 CD-Changer
Alpine Dok-1
Alpine Blackbird navi
JL 300/2, 500/2, A2150, Xtant 100/1
no noise anywhere in the system except for the Sirius!!! I have moved the amps around, purchased new wire to do the big-3, moved grounds, all one all seperate, grounded the tuner to the trunk metal, purchased all new triple shielded RCA,s, moved power wires etc.!!! all amps have 4-guage dedicated through distro block, all ground through distro block (remember I tried gorund all seperate and all together no difference.) Running AI-net cable from front to hatch area where the DSP is one cable!!! all other RCAs are only 3-feet long. The only thing I have not done was ground the Sirius tuner to the D106 chasis, all grounds on the radio/dsp/tuner go to the stock wire harness (tried moving directly to metal) unplugged antenna no difference. Please help, what is next?
Should I try to ground the Sirius tuner to the D106 chasis or the D106 stock ground? all cable power are on one side of the car and Ai-net and speaker on the other. should i change the stock harness ground to bare metal with all other grounds DSP/Tuner attached? please help remember no other source has the whirling alt noise, not the IPOD, DVD, CD, Radio etc..... only the Sirius tuner, and it can not be heard low only when you turn up the volume 12+ and when talk stops and the RPMS are at 3000 you can hear it.
