Alternator upgrade enough?

I'm about to get my alternator upgraded to 200 amps. My system consists of :

hifonics txi 4006: (ill be running 100wx2 @ 4 ohms)

and

hifonics bxi 2006d ill be running around 1500w @1.5 ohms)

of course there are subs and shit, but this is pertaining to my electrical. Will the big 3 and alternator upgrade be enough? Im still using a stock battery and I dont care about running the stereo with the truck turned off.

1) batteries arent just used when the car is turned off. yes the alternator does most of the work with the car on, however in a quick demanding situation such as a car stereo, batteries can be just as important as the alternator

2) i would run the setup as is, get some voltage readings, and see if you will even need any electrical upgrades

an upgraded alt is a good thing, because thats where the power is coming from..

It will help, but if your stock battery can't match the power needs of your amp you will experience voltage drop even with the 200 amp alternator.

You're system may want 150 amps in a quick burst, but if you're battery can only deliver 120 at 14 volts, you'll get some voltage drop to a voltage level that your battery can output enough to match your amplifier. So the alternator is a good thing and will definitely make a big improvement, if you want a perfect standing voltage you might wanna check and see if your battery can handle the stresses of your amplifier. But the alternator and Big 3 will make a world of difference, and yes you could run that setup with the stock battery, but if you're gonna upgrade the alternator you might as well upgrade the battery.
