The factory doesn't fuse alt-batt. I wouldn't either.

And what 2400w amp are you running?

Okay do your big 3, but you also need an alternator for the kind of power you want to put out, As always the bigger the better. As far as wanting to buy another amp, get your electrical problems fixed then see.

Keep in mind it's not just the maximum current but also the idle current. There are a lot of crappy alternators out there that claim to be high output but that put out jack s*** at idle even compared to stock. Nobody wants a system that only works if they're revving their engine to 3500.

you'll need a H/O alt regardless. thats just that. batteries and big 3 will help minimal. but if the alt cant keep anything charged up and support the system then its useless in the end.
