alternator question

well the bigger the better that way you dont have to upgrade later.niw as for price well most of the time its just some scrap wire out of the bin and some terminal's so with that being said i might spend $25-$30 on a complete kit

Would some regular 0gauge leftover I have work fine?

Okay do your big 3, but you also need an alternator for the kind of power you want to put out, As always the bigger the better. As far as wanting to buy another amp, get your electrical problems fixed then see.

Keep in mind it's not just the maximum current but also the idle current. There are a lot of crappy alternators out there that claim to be high output but that put out jack s*** at idle even compared to stock. Nobody wants a system that only works if they're revving their engine to 3500.
