what are you using for power? and what voltage are you dropping to.

this will make the decision on what needs to be done, a lot easier.

sundown 1500 with a regular wet cell under the hood and a stinger spv33 in the trunk, single run of 1/0 and 1/0 big 3. i dont know about voltage drops with this amp but with the old soundstream 1500w i had it dropped into the 11's but that was before the big 3 and i also was using distro blocks back then. the dimming isnt as bad with the sundown for some reason even though its a little more powerfull and draws more amps.

and yea it rattles bad. i got dynamat on the florida plate but im putting my Indiana plates in the morning so its gonna get worse. plus the trunk lid slaps the body in the middle (under the brake light) that sucks

I'd do the deadener unless you measure and are getting severe voltage drops. The SD's are pretty efficient as I've run 2 of them off a stock 105amp alt with a g31 in the trunk and only very slight drops at max volume...
