Alternator and battery help

Okay so the amps I have are sundown audio scv 3000d and a rf t400x4ad. That's a total of 3,400 watts. Now if I purchase a 270 amp alternator and a d2400 xs power battery (3500 watts max amp) as a second battery from my stock one will I be able to run 3,400 watts easily? And my alternator won't over charge my batteries will it? I already plan on doing big 3 upgrade too. Post below any information can help me thanks!

that should run good. a general rule of thumb is that 1 amp is similar to 10 watts, so a 270 amp alternator can push 2700 watts. But you're not always needing to discharge the full 3400. Another battery will do you well. And your alternator wont overcharge unless you have an external voltage regulator which allows you to adjust the voltage it charges at and you set it too high. Big 3 is a must

so I did the math if 55ah = 1000 watts then I'll need around 187 ah.. So if I get the d2400 (70 ah) and the xs power xp 3000 (120 ah) then I will be fine right? not counting the one under the hood as you said. Please let me know soon because Tuesday I plan on buying batteries and wanna make sure this will work correctly :)
