alternative type music

Try Radiohead. They are kinda similar to what u listed, but waaaaaaay better.

Edit: Didnt see that you wanted particular songs.

Anyway, these are by Radiohead. Yes, I love O.K. Computer.

"Paranoid Android"

"Karma Police"

"Electioneering"

"Climbing Up the Walls"

LMAO @ these bands. I bet you'd like Story of the Year, Coheed & Cambria, New Found Glory, Taking Back Sunday, and Three Days Grace.

Now if you want music that is actually good, how about this, a bunch of albums from the past and present covering many different genres. Go to town.

The Cure - Three Imaginary Boys

The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead

The Dears - No Cities Left

Jeff Buckley - Grace

Ron Sexsmith - Cobblestone Runway

Shuggie Otis - Inspiration Information

Belle & Sebastian - The Boy With The Arab Strap

Sigur Ros - Agaetis Byrjun

Matthew Good Band - Beautiful Midnight

Nick Drake - Pink Moon

Beach Boys - Pet Sounds

King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King

Leonard Cohen - Songs Of Leonard Cohen

The Afghan Whigs - 1965

The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots

The Pixies - Surfer Rosa

Feist - Let It Die

Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot

John Lennon - Plastic Ono Band

Jethro Tull - Aqualung

I Mother Earth - Blue Green Orange

Elliott Smith - Either Or

David Bowie - The Rise & Fall Of Ziggy Star

Portishead - Dummy

Tool - Undertow

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Willy And The Poor Boys

Husker Du - Zen Arcade

Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water

Stevie Ray Vaughan - In Step

Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway

Tom Waits - Swordfishtrombones

The Clash - London Calling

The Who - Tommy

Bjork - Debut

^^^

Good choices! Quality music...although I probably would have thrown a Dylan album in there, and CCR's "Platinum" is a much better compilation, though it's a little pricey...

Don't forget Yellowcard //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

A must for the wannabe-teenage-emo-angst'er.

Hrm, dunno how I forgot about Dylan, I'd add Blonde on Blonde. I don't know how I forgot about Yellowcard either. Or My Chemical Romance or Death Cab For Cutie or Gym Class Heroes or Hawthorne Heights.

Cant forget good charlotte!
