im about to buy n 190amp alt for my 92 honda civic. do i need to get a new volts Regulator or something i heard that it you put it in your car that u will blow all your lights in the car need some help

The amperage will do nothing to the electrical system, only hi-voltage over 15-16 volts

A true 190 amp alternator requires a HUGE Case, difficult to fit any Honda

Alternator amp ratings are just like amplifier Watt ratings, OVER RADTED they Lie about the output

A true 190 amp custom alternator would have an external regulator

so the alts on ebay are not good i found one on there will bolt on for 250 shipped. its a stock one but with 190 amps in it
