Is there a place to check and see what my alternator's rating is ?

My amp takes a 160 amp external fuse. + I'll be running a small high amp

It's the Mtx thunder 81000D Un modded Running a 10xxx

I have a 93 grand prix with a v6

I have a place very near me that turns alts

I was wondering also if i do need to go bigger how big should i go

Im going to do the "big 3" soon and was wondering what all goes into this I know bigger battery and alt wire but couldnt find the 3rd one

Also would i need a new voltage regulator? or does my brain on this car do that?

i use to have a 93 grand prix. it's a 100 amp alt. your lights will dim most likey with that amp if it's like my old grand prix. you might want to look into an HO alt

i would go 200 amps. then you know you have plenty and if you get bigger amps down the line you have it. don't forget the big 3

by the way excessiveamperage quoted me a price of $280 for a 200 amp for my 93 grand prix.

Ok well they custom build alts at said shop

I just heard it was cheaper to get one turned
