Alpine vs Shocker vs K-series

i have heard so many good things about all of these brands. which one is the best overall? i am either getting:

15" Alpine Type-R

15" Super X-Treme Shocker

15" Elemental Designs K-Series

which one?????????

Well you have a major price range there lol...from a $500 Shocker to a $145 K. The Shocker is a serious sub, mostly SPL oriented. What do you want to achieve? SQ/SPL, SQ, SPL?

i can get the Shocker for $230, the alpine for around $200 and the k-series for $160. so its not that big of a price range. anyway, i want it to shatter my windows and sound good doing it!!!!

Where can you get the Shocker for only $230????????!!!!!!!!!! Your gettin' ripped on the K series...get it from the website, only $145.

the k-series i can get for $145 also, but i was figuring shipping also. tell me what i wanna know and i will tell you where you cang et the shocker for $230...

The Shockers will tear your head off, the Alpine will get loud(I used to run 4) but will still sound pretty good, and I have yet to hear the K's, but from what I gather - they get loud and sound good as well.

yeah, i was really thinking about getting 2 12" Shocker III's, but i can't find a good amp to use with it, got any idea's? and if the X-Treme is that cheap, i might just go with 2 of those, but then again, i can't find a good amp for those other than 2 JBL 1200.1's, any idea's for 2 E-Treme's?

yo, he's lying about getting as many as you need unless he has them in stock, super extreme subs have been discontinued!!

get the 15, tune it low and it will get loud with SQ, ppl always say shockers have no SQ, what a lie

oh yeah and I have a buddy who has 4 super 15's that i am selling for 250 per sub shipped dual 2 ohm coils

oh man, that sucks, i'd love to buy 2 of them, but i have a mustang, and i can barely fit 2 12's in there, i don't know if i'm going to fit 2 15's unless i take out the back bench, and i don't wanna do that, yet. i mean, unless you wanna help build a box, and then i guarantee you that it's not going to be one big box, more like a configuration of separate smaller boxes, but whatever. it can only be 34" wide, and can't be something like 15"x15" for the other dimensions otherwise it hits the hatch. but i'm sure i could work around it

if u like the 81000d u need to look around...i know of two retailers that'll sell them for less then $450. usally around the $375-$395 area!

if you have the money, go w/ the shocker....but i believe the k-series is the best sub for the money. (SQL))

yeah, i found it at etronics.com for $399.99. oh, and all the retailers by me sell most of their stuff at msrp, and so the 81000D is around $900 if i buy it from them. ok, so i have 2 major questions that will decide what i get. (1) what's a good amp to run 2 12" Shocker III's off of, and (2) can 2 12" K-Series handle an MTX 81000D? thanks a lot.
