Alpine or Kicker

I am looking into new subs. I am looking at the Alpine R 12" and the Solobaric square 12". The kicker is an older model so it isn't the new L7 or L5. I am one that truly believes that in the right box the kicker can maintain some SQ. The solo can be bought from my buddy for about $200 canadian. All the other speakers in my car are kicker so i am kinda leaning towards the solo.

The Alpine Type-R's are some of the baddest a** speakers i have ever owned what so great about them is there crankablity. Each 12 has an RMS of 300w, now that might not sound like alot but thats only RMS. Each 12 also has a Max. of 1000w on EACH woofer.

I myself have 3 of them and the only other woofers that I heard that will make mine look obsoleate is the Type-R 15".... Alpine makes the best sub-woofer out on the market right now but if you have anymore questions e-mail me lil_loco112@hotmail.com
