the infinity i found at 280, so i would say, 300 is my price range....

I have 2 DD 3512 coming in about a month, so i want to have g0od midrange and highs for the dd's....

Ever considered DEI Studio components? They are very loud and clear. I'm pretty sure they are right in your price range, and I think they sound as good as Orion HCCA's, and they are an awesome set themselves($650). Look at some reviews on them, or ask around before you buy.
