Alpine Type X or... ?

Hey guys... ok, I did some searching but couldn't find much about

I know its there, but I'm probably using the wrong search words, 'cause after

bout 6 or 7 pages of search I didn't get my answer.

At any rate, I need a 10" sub that can easily hit very loud but yet I can

still keep turned down for most everyday listening while driving to/from work.

Here's the basic jist of what I drive and what kinda box & power I'd like ~

Hyundai Tiburon (2000 yr)

Looking at a box around 1.5cu feet, no larger than 1.7 (ported if possible)

Hoping to have bout 750-1000w RMS

The Type X seems like it'd fill this roll perfectly, but I'd still like to know

if there are any other subs that could possibly be a better choice ?

I like having tons of bass from SPL subs but I admit I like crisp clean bass.

I listen to a almost even mixture of Rock, Alternative Rock, Rap, Hip hop,

and some R&B. Every once and awhile I'll play some Pop for my lil sister.

So with that small of a box, can I really hope to get a sub setup that has

the capability for being loud when I'm BSing with my friends @ our car meets ?

But still be a nice sub when its turned down for everyday listening ?

you could try a w6. the type x is nice, but the w6 will be better.
