alpine type X 12" owners plz respond

ok...so I keep hearing this sub is a low end monster, so I think I might have to try one. please let me know the box size,type and tuning frequency you have. I have 1000watts rms fo the sucka. I already own a rl-p 12, as well as idmax 12, if you have experience with those vs. the type X,please post differences.Thanks.

i have a type x in a 2.5 cube box tuned to 32. and yes it is a low end monster. picks them up like a champ, and sounds very crisp. i have it running on 1100 watts

i had 2 of em.....yes, with them you will experience what tight clean and hard bass really sounds like.....it sounded unlike any other sub ive had

gets very loud too........

and btw low end PWNAGE ftw!

The Type X's T/S specs sort of point it to being more suitable in a sealed box, what are you guys putting yours in? As far as the X owning the RL-p/IDMAX on the lowend, do you have anything to substantiate your claim? I just got a RL-p12 and despite it being in a 2@35Hz box it does pretty well on the low end. When I get some free time I wanna do another box tuned low (~28) to see what difference it might make.
