I looked there too. But the ones on alpines website that were the 2012 type rs were blacked out, the ones on online car stereo had gray cones.

I know Kicker doesn't have the best rep around here but the CVX is pretty **** good for what it is. I just got rid of mine and I loved that sub. What amp are you going to be running though?

Im pretty set on getting a sundown sa15. But i don't know what kinda amp im gonna run. Dont know much about amps at all. Just know the sub is 600w rms, so ill need that out of an amp at 4 ohms or 2 ohms depending on whether i decide to get the sub 2 ohms or 4 ohms.

if you get a dual 2 ohm, it will need to make the wattage you desire at 1 OR 4 ohms. If you get a dual 4 ohm sub, your amp will need to make the power you desire to put on that sub at 2 ohms. There are two voice coils, when wired together, that produce a final ohm load of either half or double(depending on how you wire it up) the impedance of one of the coils. You need to learn about all of this before you decide on what you want.... it's VERY important that you understand the basics before you spend your money. You can probably learn most of what you will need to know (well enough to not ruin new equipment, anyway) within a week if you study up on it. There's tons of info online.

Get it in dual 4 and find a used kicker zx750 or zx1000 for it. Those amps are constantly around GA Craigslist

Well im gonna have to get a amp for around $100 for right now until later. Right now i just want to make sure that i dont overpower it or underpower it and just wanna make sure that i can push it. Ill worry about all of the technical stuff later on and try to get the most out of it as i can and learn about hz and stuff like that. Right now i just wanna make sure i do it right.
