Alpine Type R, underpowered

Hey...

I'm doing an install for a friend, using a Profile AP600 (300x1 at 4) and an Alpine Type R 12". Unfortunately, he ordered the wrong voice coil config for the sub (dual 4)...so I'm stuck at either 2 or 8 ohms.

First, could the Profile be run at 2 ohms without too much of a problem? What about adding extra CPU fans to cool it? If not, how would running a Type R with only 150W (at 8 ohms) in a sealed enclosure sound? I'm going to stuff the bejeezus out of it with polyfill, to try to make it as big as possible.

better be about 1.5-1.75 ft^3 at that power level to get any sort of volume output. If he is short on power, I would go ported.

you could hook up each voice coil to a different channel the amp is 100x2@4 ohms stereo so u could get 200 watts out of it
