Hello...

Im a huge fan of Alpine, currently own a MRD-M1005, and a Alpine Type-R 12" Sub, and Alpine deck...

I guess I'd like to stay w/ all Alpine

What i'd like to know is, is the 05' models of the Type R Components any good?

THanks.

They arent bad if you buy them off ebay. I heard them in a bestbuy wall so that didnt give them much justice. Then heard them in an install and it was loud, and clear. But for my ears either it was too harsh or just sounded fuzzy. Mabye it was because i had a headache. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I would just go with a ported box tuned from 32 hz. - 35 hz.
