Alpine Type R 12"=WOW!!!!

I just hooked up my single 12" type argh® to a Freebie old 2 channel MA audio amp and let me tell u that thing literally cracked my side mirror.....I was sooo amazed that it sounded that great hooked to an older amp that i didnt know if it even worked and i have it in my trunk with the seats up. The box is around 1.6-1.7cubes @34-35hz and it almost seals off my trunk they have about a half to a whole inch around the whole box. So overall i am extremely pleased and Alpine Type R's FTW

If anyone is debating this sub i would say go for it asap You wont be disappointed.

I have never tried the Rs, but I say the same about the RE SE. Good budget subs....

ya i was impressed with my type Rs as well got a pair in 4 cubes to 33hz off a hifonics 2008 D and it gets loud. blows my CVRs out of the water.

Id prolly take an SE over an R, but who knows....Rs will shock ya if ya use em right

You can buy it 4 times before you get to the price of a BTL

Mine made my exhaust bearings seize up, so I had to take them out
