Alpine Type R 12"s ported or sealed

I have an 07 Scion TC. I'm about to have a custom box built for 2 12" Alpine type R's. Each sub will be hooked to its own Alpine mrx m50 amp at 2ohm getting a bit over of 500rms watts to each sub. I can't decide if I want sealed or ported?! Any tips/opinions/facts?

Head unit will probably be a Pioneer 2400bt

I loved my Type R 12" in a 3.5cft box off my Alpine MRX-M100 (@2ohms 1000watts)

Where'd you get 7? you won't need 7cft for 2 12's lol

I know for a fact that you can fit 2 12's in your Scion there are a few member(s) on here that have.

I did, adding a second subwoofer doesn't make it double that size

That's a big box! Ever have it in anything smaller to compare?
