Alpine Told me to do this !!!!!!

when i called alpine to ask them what shoulld i do about my amp that does 500rms at 4 ohms when bridged and hooking it up to only one voice coil since both coils are 4ohms

they told me that it would work but it would be much better if i bridge the amp make 500rms into one voice coil and then use the ch 1/2 that does 125rms at 4ohms and wire it to the 2nd voice coil

so this ok to do.. having one voice coil 3 times more rms then the other one ?

think about it, how is it a good idea to r un two voicecoils on a sub at difference wattages? wht makes that even a remotely good idea?

Why dont you just sell the sub/amp, and buy a different sub/amp to match whichever you arent selling? Its that simple.
