Really? I've not had any experience with them, I heard 2 of em runnin I believe off of a JBL 600.1, sounded pretty good, nice combo of SQ and SPL.

Ive got two of the 1221D 12" and they sound awesome on the SQ level and if you port your box they do very well on the SPL level. I heard this guys set of 15"s today Im not sure what brand but my two twelves sound a heck of a lot better. I would even go to say they are the best in the Parkin lot. with a high school of 200 people thats not hard to do.

12's should sound better than 15's they are tighter and alot more accurate. 15's are for booming and thats about it.

hmm... don't know about that. I think that generalization is pretty rough. There are 15s with very good sound quality out there, so say the postmasters on this site.

I had two 12" type R's that were dual 4 ohm. I gave them around 400W rms and they hit quite nicely. definitely decent SPL and good SQ, in my opinion. But hear them before you get them, because people have mixed feelings about these subwoofers.

I said that wrong. What I meant was that some people simply don't like them. Others think they are quite decent (most).

will a refurbed jbl 600.1z run good with 2 12 type r's at 2 Ohms.
