voice coil to ohm matchup

ok so im buying 2 w6's which i will wire parallel to give me 2 ohms each. If i wire these both to a mono amp, specifically the PA a3000db, will it produce a 2 ohm load or do the ohms change with the 2 subs hooked up.

if you hook up 2 2 ohm subs, you will get a 1 ohm load.

if they are both dual 4 ohm, the 2 subs combined will give you a 1 ohm load. if you can wire each sub to 2 ohms, that means they are indeed dual 4 ohm, so the 2 will equal a 1 ohm final load.

it says the amp pushes 1800 watts at 1 ohm, is this ridiculously overrated?

i thought the a3000 was rated at 2300 x 1 @ 1

yea thats the right specs, 2300*1 @ 1 ohm, will that be plenty to power the two w6's?

thats way more than you need... 500w ea. would still probably be more than enough.
