ALPINE subs......opinions

look online. check ebay. they arent that great of subs. id get 2 10" RE SE's. i have 2 10's and they destroy all my freiends Type R setups with 2 12" R's. http://www.respl.com call them for pricing shipped to ur door. Give these things like 500+ watts and it will hit harder and sound bettter than any type R setup u put together.

yeah, one magnum d2...or two RE SE's are prolly the most logical idea's for u situation. They will outperform the type-r's in every area. Also, check out http://www.gnomeaudio.com for cheap custom boxes. peace

For the deck go with a cheaper Alpine or Eclipse, if you just do with a dual 2 ohm sub versus 3 10's youll get a better quality sub by spending the $300 on one instead of 3 I reccomend a Diamond M6 or a Jl Audio sub and for an amp it will be hard to find a good quality Class D amp for $300 unless its used Diamond, JL, Eclipse alll make good amp Alpine makes a couple class D amps and they run around 550 & 330 retail just go to Alpine1.com to check it out just make sure to get a sub or subs at the right ohm impedance. Are you planning to get a 4 channel and speakers?

hey man **** all alpine they blow way to easy if you want alot of bass take a look at rockfords he2 10s or you can go and get 1 rockford hx2 12 and put 1 800 watt amp on it and you will have a hard hitten system. but if you dgo with he2 there about 150 a piece and you can stick 2 12s behind your seat and hook them to a 1000 watt amp and dude that will be all the bass you need. im serious you will not want to buy alpine they blow way to easy and you can get so much more for a little more

there are some new alpine type-s sub's that are 900 watts and 300rms and thay

get low and loud *** bass and hit hard and there better than any type-e myself i

went with 3 new type-s 12" and i don't want to go any louder or i will be getting

obviously you have NEVER heard amazing subs man. NONE of alpine's sub will come CLOSE to damaging windows...even with like 10 15's...it won't happen. obviously...ur an in-experienced noob. Alpine type-r's have good SQ, and they are decent subs for $94...but i'll keep mine. peace
