Alpine Set-Up

Ok, whats the best box, and tune settings for the following gear?

I plan on wiring it like the second way listed at the following link:

Also, how many Ohms will this set up run? All Alpine amps are 2 Ohms stable. The following driver (The alpine SWR-1222 Type-R) is 2 Ohm + 2 Ohm. There will be 2 of them wired as above. Also, how many watts will each driver get max and RMS?

2-2.5cu tuned low 30s, did u buy that amp already, if not lookin into sumthin else. buddy of mine had 2 of those(custel) and was an headache

How did you come up with that number? they will get 500 watts. I think you were looking at the rated power at 12v. At 14.4 the amp does 1000 at 2 ohms so therefore 500 persub.

i jsut got the alpine mrd-m501, picked it up for 145cdn (125 usd)

got it powering a type r 12 in 2.8 net @ 32 hz, pretty loud, gotta go adjust everything properly later on though,
