Alpine or Hertz - what speaker set up should I use - help me decide

I don't have any suggestions for you, as I haven't heard either. But when I was doing research on these exact speakers, particularly the hertz speakers on amazon, I found that the RMS ratings are way off (overrated). Either the seller did this as a selling point, or amazon did it, dunno.

Just telling you this so you don't buy the hertz thinking they can handle over 100w RMS because they can't according to their website.

you dont buy because of power rating, you buy whichever sounds better and gets louder with the given power. In this case hertz takes the cake.

However for 6.5s, i'd go with morel maximo components.

completely agree, i was just letting him know that in light of my own experience so he doesn't try giving them too much power.

I'd buy the hsk 156xl if i could afford it

Yeah, good point too. The PYLES and pyramids are all 2400 watts etc and cost 40$ etc , its all crap.

I have a planet audio 4 channel 2400 watt amp. So that would be about 300 watt rms per channel .

you mean 150 clean rms total from all channels added up at 2 ohms per channel.

They seem to get kinda tinny after 80rms(hard to say exactly. Id give them just under what their rated for. Def not 150.
