i am trying to install my alpine 9805 headunit. the quick fit harness i purchased has a black ground wire with a ring at the end. where is the best place to put this? the harness that came with the headunit has a black ground cable as well but it doesn't have the ring at the end. what should i do with this?
i put in this morning and it worked for 10 sec and then shut off. i checked the fuse for the radio/cig lighter and it was blown. i replaced it but later on today another seperate fuse (instrument panel) went out. have i created some kind of electrical problem?
i appreciate any help any of you can provide
btw, i soldered my connections together if it makes any difference.
