Alpine Headunit+iPhone Integration

Hey everyone, I own an Alpine CDA-9856 headunit, and purchased an iPod adapter a while back that connects to the bottom of my iPod to play the music through my headunit. Recently, however, I purchased an iPhone and would really like to be able to play my iPhone through my Alpine headunit. Although the iPod cord that I've used for years does work with my iPhone, it doesn't charge it. I've found that the battery begins to drain very quickly while I'm playing the music with my iPhone. Are there any cords that you know of that can connect my iphone to my headunit and charge the phone at the same time? If not, if there any way to connect a wire from my iPhone headphone jack to my Alpine CDA 9856 headunit so that I can charge my phone with another cable from the bottom of my iPhone? Thanks a lot.
