Although the iPod cord that I've used for years does work with my iPhone, it doesn't charge it. I've found that the battery begins to drain very quickly while I'm playing the music with my iPhone. Are there any cords that you know of that can connect my iphone to my headunit and charge the phone at the same time? If not, if there any way to connect a wire from my iPhone headphone jack to my Alpine CDA 9856 headunit so that I can charge my phone with another cable from the bottom of my iPhone?
