Alpine CDA-9887 and crossovers

Good morning,

The alpine has dip switch on the chassis for 2 xover settings; 2way and 3way. What is the best way to setup the deck with the equipment I have? Can I even do 3 way?

Here is my setup for the speakers. I only have 1 set of speakers (i only have room for 1 set)

Viper 550.2 components (100 RMS) - powered by MRP-F240

MRP-F240

40 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms

50 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms

100 watts RMS x 2 bridged output at 4 ohms

I was going to bridge and have the set run at 100 watts.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the response. The reason I was thinking about 3 way was because I wanted to be able to control the mids and the the tweeters individually with my deck.

The 2-way setting only allows me to change the crossovers for the components as a whole but the 3-way gives options for both mids and tweeters. The more I think about it, it doesn't matter since the tweeters are using the components crossover HPF... right? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
