I was looking at the manual but I didn't see the instructions for turning off the Internal amp.

Also, I'm running a jl sub with an older ppi a600 amp (no eq), there is some vocal coming from the sub. Is it possible to setup the Alpine eq to keep the sub from producing that freq? I only had a few minutes to mess with the hu, but couldn't get it the way I want it. Any tips on tuning with this hu?

Thanks.

to turn off the amp you gotta hold down the func./setup button and go to general and to Power IC. turn that off you will turn the internal amplifier off.
