Head unit

Hay All:

newby here, a little history, I purchased a New truck "new to me" a Ford F250

it had a Jensen head unit with all the bells and whistles, however it would NOT read a CD/DVD. looking around I found the recipt where it was purchased, it was still under warentee, so I contaicted them and there giving me an option to replace it "with an updated model 95XX, or get a refund.

Doing my research I have found that Jensen is rather lacking in quaility. I really would like to get a double den, and a Good stereo with all the bells and whistles.

Looking to spend about a thousand dollars.

can anyone recomand something to me...

Alpine and Clarion have some pretty nice double din's. Alpine's got the tag and sync option their higher end one.
