Alpine 9855 pre-out...

the outputs on the 9855 are quite a bit stronger than my previous 9813. Atleast they are on the fronts, the sub output is about the same but I get/hear quite a bit more from the front output to where I need to adjust my gains down a little. I noticed today that it is as loud on the front stage now at 22 as it was at around 25.

so I guess having the external DC converter does do the trick.

Heh.....well, the or the fact that Alpine has been blamed in the past for having weak outputs.......

yeah, when I went to the 9813 I noticed a drop do to there not being the external DC converter. my 7941 had one and was awesome.
