I told you it sucks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifMP3 loading on my 9855 is quick. But I do despise glidetouch. I have gotten used to it, but I still hate it.
The 9835 also has three pairs of rca outputs. I believe it is the sub out that is the teal wires coming from the back of the unit.If it matters, there IS a physical difference on the back of the unit as well. Check out these pics (the -55 has the three pairs of RCAs):
aux input FTW!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifI've got a 9835 right now, its kinda a s1ut since its on its third vehicle with me...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif But Its a fantastic HU
I scrambled to find one right after the glide touch POS's came out, but I'm seriously thinking about selling it now for a new alpine. I use my iPod with it and the interface is so F***ing slow! You can forget about trying to navigate to a specific song when you have 30gigs unless it starts with A or Z, it just takes forever to scroll:crying: Mp3 CD's are fine, but they also have a lot less music.
Some of the new units with the full speed interface, and the new blue tooth adapter have caught my attention...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif
Unless you have an ipod, then you have to use it55, glidetouch isnt that bad, and like they already said, you really only set it up and you dont have to use it again after that for much
What about with remote?Unless you have an ipod, then you have to use it
No, some people cant get use to using it tho. I personally like the glide touch, i got use to in a couple of days.is the glide touch really that hard to use?
