9855, you have to use it to change folders or shuffle through songs.

If it matters, there IS a physical difference on the back of the unit as well. Check out these pics (the -55 has the three pairs of RCAs):

Ok so I lied here is my second post since ive yet to get banned or heavily flammed. This one is more serious. I prefer the 55 mainly for the glide touch. While it is just another bell and whistle you prefere it in time. Its more of an aquired taste. I originally had the hard choice a year and a half ago where i went with the 55. Was stolen about 6 months ago and instead of buying a different model I bought it again. Make sure to get one of the later ones since the first ones had serious issues where after a week or so it would not work. I have had no problems with the headunit. I believe that it was the initial bad batch that was the downfall of the glidetouch.

The glidetouch is great sadly too many defective units went out where the glidetouch did not even operate properly. Sometimes companies like to jump the gun on something that truly was not done in the engineering process and im sad to see such a great idea be thrown away. Like I said I was in the same situation and I feel I made the correct choice the only upgrade I would make is to the 9965 and thats because it has glidetouch as well.
