anyone running this hu am about to buy one just wondering how good of a hu they are.Im going from a 2 volt pre out sony xplod to this so im sure i will notice a difference

yep, pretty good difference, the overall layout will be much better. Alpines have some of the best displays out there IMO. Kenwood and Pioneer are close.

well im thinking this or a eclipse cd3200 which will be better for quality

just spend a little more and go with the alpine cda-9887

tit for tat imo. The Eclipse may have a higher voltage pre out. But the 9813 is a older Alpine that was great a great hu. I dont know much about the 3200. I like the display of the Alpine better and I have owned it. zit had tons of features. I also believe you can turn the internal amp off so the SQ will be better.

it would be better to look into the Eclipse CD5030, looks promising!

well im giving the wifey my cd player and these two are for sale on here so thats why i was asking i would get a 9887 if i found one a little cheaper they are nice
