I got a pair of Alpine SPR-69 and they claim they use special magnets...I have seen bigger magnets on tweeters. Anyone know anything about them? I am thinking of selling them for something better. any suggestions? $150 or less would be best

they're neodymium magnets, smaller but much more powerful than ferrite magnets typically used. They're nice because they can be much smaller, lighter weight but perform just as well.

Yep, neo magnets are very strong, lightweight, and much less is needed.

Don't worry about the magnets, how do they sound?
