Hardware: Pioneer P780MP
Auto: 06 Mustang GT with Shaker 500 Radio
Current Status:
Have the wireharness done, and have come to a few questions.
Hooking up the factory subs in the doors to run without having the second half of the wireharness "» RCA cables for the signal to the woofers” as seen here:

1. Thoughts: Connection that used to go into the oem shaker 500 radio to run the subs. Seen here:

J4 Plug
Picture of the one on my car is below.
I've read that the blue/purple wire is the remote turn on and the others are for the subs. I’ll connect the blue/purple one to the amp on ignition switched wire. Any issues with connecting the speaker ones up to rca's and going right into the new hu rca front inputs? When I splice the one end of the rca's to connect the right and left woofer connections, should I ground the outer copper wire, or just pull it back and put some electrical tape on it? On that same connection is a aux aud 1 shield, should I ground this one as well?
2. For the remote turn on one, ok to splice this one into the amp turn on/ignition switched wire as well?
3. I was also going to put a 4.7 resistor on the radios remote turn/ignition switched wire to eliminate the popping sound when turned on. Can I soldier this inline?
Thanks
