You doing sub up port back/side?

I was going to try that with my next box and SSD 15 but i have had good enogh luck with sub back port pack with my 12. Plus I like keeping the hatch cover too.

I am doing 30 wide by 16 high by 20-22 deep.

subs up port to the driver side. my box will be low enough that I can keep the hatch cover. I dont want anyone to be able to see my shit, so that was one of the big concerns when I designed it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

In that body style Integra, sub up port back has a spike in the 40-50hz range and lacks in the 25-35hz range when compared to port/sub back. Sub and port back has the best loading effects which can increase power handling and bottom end output.

I wanted to do subs up port back, but I ran out of room //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

subs up, port back...or subs forward(with seats down) port back....nothing about subs back port back sound like it would be louder....
Subs up and port back in my Integra was definitely louder from 45-50hz (by about 2dB), which is ideal if you want to put up numbers. Port and sub back gave a flatter response extending deeper but didn't peak as high. One is louder on a mic, the other is louder to the ear... pick your poison.

The way you have planned should work out quite well and get pretty loud. I would orient the box to fire the port towards the driver's side rear, where the jack, is to get good numbers sealed on the dash.

That box will tear your cargo cover apart. If I were you I'd go ahead and ditch the cover and grab the extra height to the box and tint the crap out of the back three windows......

how?

the places I would want to have it on I wouldnt want to have my stereo up anyways

is that an integra door? how the hell u got the panel back on?
Yes thats an integra door, and lots of cutting lol

But back to the OP, i saw in the first thread you mounted your crossovers inside the door, I would wrap them in a plastic bag and then mount them again. Water can ruin a crossover over time.

should I really be concerned about water getting in there?

I figured if that was problem, I should be worried about the speakers first //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
