all of my speakers quit working...

I started my truck up and i didnt have any music, just bass. I checked the fuses and they all look good, but for whatever reason my speakers just quit working? I put my stock radio back to see if it was possibly a problem with my panasonic, but the same thing happens. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my speakers working again? I am gonna go crazy if i dont have any music.

More info about the system....are they powered by the headunit, or an external amplifier?

If one of your speaker wires was shorted, it would cause this.

i agree with the short. thats what it sounds like, short causing the amplifier to go into protect.

lucky for you, its not too difficult to fix. unlucky for you, you have to find the short first
